The First of Many Ramblings

(Gotta Have a Hook – Art Order challenge entry)

My account on DeviantArt (http://dennisdarmody.deviantart.com) has served as my typically most-up-to-date gallery. I also have a separate website, http://www.dennisdarmody.com. That address was my official website for nearly a decade, and was roughly about that out-of-date (okay, maybe it was only 2 years ago i updated it…) There are plenty of excuses as to why I neglect updating, but they really don’t matter, and I am assuming most people don’t care. Basically, it had to do with the outdated software/methods I used to create it, and the ever common problem of “time.”

Now, coming into the more modern age, I am hoping to transition things away from those locations and have this Blog function as my central hub where all of my artwork can be posted for your perusal. Hopefully this will afford me the ease-of-update I seek and will let me stay current with the world.

Alongside my artwork, I hope to share some nifty nuggets that I have learned over the years. I will also use this space to keep the masses abreast of the comings and goings of my career, and of any events I may be attending. Of course, I will also use this space to appreciate art and inline with that, I will be pimping some artists, past and present, who inspire me.

So, at this christening of sorts, I hope not to disappoint (feel free to hold me to task!)

All the best,

Dennis
